What is heart failure?    Congestive  heart  failure  (CHF),  often  referred  to  as  heart  failure  (HF),  is  a  condition,  or  a  collection  of  signs  and  symptoms,  brought  on  by  a  decline  in  the  heart's  ability  to  pump  blood.  Heart   failure   does   not   often   result   in   chest   discomfort,   including   angina,   although   it   could  be  if   the   heart   failure   was   brought   on   by   a   heart   attack.
